Urban Vehicle Localization and Tracking

Participants: Wei Zhang, Siyuan Cao, Shan Chang, Li Lu, and Hongzi Zhu

Obtaining accurate location information of vehicles, especially, in urban scenarios, is of great importance to many ITS applications but challenging due to complex urban environments. For example, due to the "urban canyon" problem, satellite-based localization systems such as GPS perform unreliably. In this project, we deal with the urban localization and tracking problem through various techniques.
