Biography
Quan Liu recieved his Bachelor of Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June, 2021 and has been a master student from Computer Science and Engineering Department of SJTU since then, under the supervision of Prof. Hongzi Zhu. My research interest mainly lies in 3D Computer Vision and Point Cloud Processing. I am currently dedicated to Point Cloud Registration (PCR) on Heterogeneous Point Clouds, i.e. registering point clouds sampled from different moving vehicles on the road, with dynamic point of view, variable point density and low overlap ratio between point clouds. That said, the problem of Heterogeneous Point Cloud has been utterly ignored by other researchers, and if solved, could turn PCR into a fundamental building block in autonomous driving.
